Load shedding occurs when the generation of power is less than demand. it has become a household word in our country. Load shedding takes place for different causes. The scarcity of generation electricity is the main cause of load shedding. The misuse of electricity is another cause. The illegal connection of electricity is also responsible for load shedding. It causes a great harm to the socio-economic development of our country. The production in mills and factories decreases. Fresh food preserved in the refrigerator gets rotten. Load shedding at night encourages the miscreants in their violent works. It also hampers the study of the students. Even operation in the hospital is stopped for it. After all load shedding affects the economy of our country. So, we should not allow it to continue. The government should take some effective steps to solve this problem. More power stations should be set up. Illegal connection and system loss should also be stopped immediately.
