Food adulteration means making food or drink polluted by adding or mixing another substance to it. Now a days, foods are often adulterated, in hotels and restaurants, stale and rotten food are mixed with fresh food and served to the customers. Fish and vegetables are adulterated by mixing chemicals and other preservatives in order to make them look fresh. Junk food contains harmful Chemicals. Even milk, fruits are also adulterated. In fact, all kinds of foods and food articles are adulterated by dishonest and greedy Businessman. They use formalin in fish and fruits to preserve for a long period of time. They use urea in fried rice to make it more white and large. Adulterated foods are very harmful for health. They cause many fatal diseases and even death. Because, these foods cause problem of heart, liver, kidney, bone etc. So, we should be careful for our food. The government must strictly monitor the market regularly and must give exemplary punishment to the criminals.
